Char-Min in “Day Steam”

Virgo Vermeil is the alter-ego of Char-Min Creller. Mother to the “Captain of Seven Atmospheres”, a pre-teen who is already setting the steampunk world aflame.

Char-Min stumbled into steampunk when looking for like-minded artistic individuals. She quickly became a captain in the Official Edmonton Steampunk Group (OESG), helping to organize events, classes, dinners and outings. Her enthusiasm was infections and she began to bring the steampunk style into her everyday life.

After many requests from friends from both within the OESG and not, she began helping others dress for success in the steampunk world. Some wanting help to create a specific character or look for an event. Others, looking to try to “steam it up” in their every day wardrobe.

She looks forward to helping many more people to see the fun of steampunk styling and how it can be done without spending gobs of money.
